Welcome to 3Ds Max

Hello guys, in this post I will be writing about the Essential Skills Movies. To people that have acquire a copy of Autodesk 3D Studio Max will know what I am talking about. When you start running your software, there are 2 windows that will appear on your screen. The first one is the user interface window and another window is the Welcome to 3Ds Max window. I will be writing on this particular window throughout the post. This post is not trying to underrate anybody but rather explaining every detail as possible as I can, so please read it with a positive attitude.

In this window, there are three divisions of area which is Learn 3Ds Max, Learn More and Start Using 3Ds Max. In Learn 3Ds Max, there is Essential Skills Movies (ESM). As the name suggests, it will provide you with the basic skills that are important to move further with the software. You have to watch all of it in order to get a glimpse on the usage of the software. If you have close the window, don't be worry. You can pop out the window again through the Help button. (Refer to the picture below)

Essential Skills Movies (ESM) (Refer to the picture below)

2-      Create Objects
3-      Editing Objects

In the Learn More area, you will find links to What's New in 3Ds Max 2012 (the version that I've used in the example), How to Movies on the 3Ds Max Youtube Learning Channel, and Beginner to Expert: More Resources on the Web.

In the Start Using 3Ds Max area, there is a 1button where you can start create a new scene in the software immediately by clicking it, 2open a project file that you have stored in you computer, and 3recent files opened will be indicated below it.

Below of all that I have mentioned earlier, there is an 4option whether you want this window yo show everytime you run 3D Studio Max or not. If you want it to open everytime you run the software, check the  box, if you don't want it, then uncheck the box.

Finally, the 5close button. Press it to close the window and start doing something with the software. Thank you for reading!
